How to Get to Act Two in Baldur’s Gate 3
Players will find themselves in Act 2, once they are tasked with reaching the Moonrise Towers in the Shadow Cursed Land and have successfully unlocked The Plot Thickens achievement in Baldur’s Gate 3. You can easily miss out on such achievements in the game. Once you travel across the Shadow Cursed Land, you will come across the Last Light Inn in BG3. After reaching the Inn and unlocking the achievement, players will officially commence Act 2 two in the game. However, to travel across the Shadow Cursed Land and come across Act 2 in Baldur’s Gate 3, players will have the option to choose between two routes.
The first route will take players through the Mountain Pass which you can access through the Risen Road by using the Broken Stone Bridge or by heading east of the Goblin Camp in BG3. Players can head west after interacting with Karlach, to come across the Githyanki Patrol. After which interact with the pass to clear the first step in reaching Act 2 in Baldur’s Gate 3. You will come across Kar’niss who with the help of his Moonlantern will help you negate the Shadow Curse.
Another route players can take is by going through the Underdark and reaching the Grymforge in BG3. You can either travel to the area through the portal in Auntie Ethel’s hideout or by completing the Selune Moon Puzzle in Goblin Camp. Look for a boat and you will be able to get to Grymforge where you will have to defeat Grym. After which you can use the elevator to end up in Shadow Cured land.
What Level Should You Be for Act 2 in BG3?
While moving forward to Act 2, it is recommended for players to reach level 5 with all their party members in Baldur’s Gate 3. Players will come across even more difficult enemies than in Act One. And given that the previous act was long enough to last the entirety of some other games, players should find it easy to grind their way to level 5.
