When is the Next Double XP Weekend in Modern Warfare 2 & Warzone 2?

The dates of the next Double XP Weekend will be revealed soon and we will update them here whenever that info is shared by the developers.

The previous event ran from May 26 to May 30, 2023. These dates were officially confirmed by the Call Of Duty Twitter handle. Following were the start and end timings for the event across various timezones.

What is Double XP Weekend Event?

Double XP Weekend in Modern Warfare 2 is an event that makes it easy for players to level up their ranks, battle pass, and weapons by doubling the experience gained while playing the game. Players can earn Double XP, Double Battle Pass XP, and Double Weapon XP during the event. The event is released every month and is held on weekends for the players. It is first made exclusively available for PlayStation users a day before Xbox and PC users.  As the Double XP Weekend event lasts for 4 days players can look to make the most out of it and level up in the game.

If you want to play and win in Plunder Mode, then you will need to collect either $2 million in cash or have the highest cash among enemy teams when the timer runs out. You can earn money in Plunder by eliminating players and picking up their cash, completing contracts, participating in events, and clearing Strongholds and Blacksites in Warzone 2. Along with that, you can also loot supply boxes and collect loose money lying around in houses to earn more cash in Plunder.

As you collect more cash while playing Plunder, you will become the center of attraction on the Al Mazrah map. Your location will be revealed to everyone on the Tac map. This will put you at risk of being ambushed by enemy quads. If you don’t want to lose your cash to enemy operators, then keep depositing money regularly at Cash Deposit Helipads or a Cash Deposit Balloon. And even if you die at the hands of an enemy player, you can always respawn and claim vengeance by reclaiming your cash from the same opponent. That is the single most important cause of why COD players love playing Plunder as you can always respawn until the match ends. However, you can also improve your chances of winning a Plunder match by spending some of your cash at Buy Stations. Here are the newly introduced items:

New Items at Buy Stations 

• Discount Card: Receive 10% cashback on all purchases.
• Life Insurance: Keep 50% of the Cash even if you get eliminated.
• Angel Investor: Receive an exclusive contract that offers better cash rewards and also a free UAV.

All Events in Plunder Warzone 2 Season 3

• Blood Money: Earn double cash for a limited period while eliminating and looting Enemy Operators.
• Cannon Fodder: [[REDACTED]]
• Choke Hold: A circle of gas will spawn when the match is about to turn into a stalemate or runs too long.
• Contractor: Earn double Cash for completing any Contract.
• Heat: Black Sites and Strongholds will award 5x the normal rewards.
• Money Siphon: ATMs will offer unlimited Cash Withdrawals for a limited amount of time.

Plunder Rewards

You will be able to earn nine different rewards while playing Plunder mode in Warzone 2. These can be earned by killing enemies, winning Plunder matches and other tasks. Some of the rewards include a Vehicle Camo, Calling Cards, Decals, and more.

The introduction of Koschei Complex in Season 3 Reloaded has also brought a whole new set of missions for DMZ’s Redacted Faction. One of the many missions that you will undertake in this underground complex will be the Abandoned Operator. It is a Tier 4 mission in Warzone 2 DMZ that requires you to find certain locations and collect several items to unlock the Secure Buy Station as the ultimate objective. Since this is quite a lengthy and difficult mission, you might need to plate up and also have an overpowered secondary weapon like the FTAC Siege. We will guide you through the rest of it. How to Complete the Abandoned Operator DMZ Mission in Warzone 2

To complete the Abandoned Operator DMZ mission, you will need to locate the Shopkeeper, trade some items with him, and purchase any item from his shop. You will be rewarded with the L2 Restricted Zone Key and 15,000 XP. To know how to do this mission step by step, keep reading till the end.

Where to Find the Shopkeeper in Koschei Complex DMZ

The Shopkeeper can be found at the Factory Admin section of the Koschei Complex. This area can be accessed from any of the four Koschei Complex entrances in DMZ. All you need to do is head to the Chemical Plant door first and unlock it with Jumper Cables and a Battery. Once you’re inside the Chemical Plant, you will need to look for the Factory Admin key.

It can be usually found inside the air vents or dropped by AI soldiers. Once you have the key, head towards the western part of the Chemical Plant to find a Bunker door. Unlock this door to enter the Factory Admin section in the Abandoned Operator DMZ mission. Now, just look for indicators around the walls to reach the Shopkeeper’s location and continue the mission.

Trade Items with the Shopkeeper

Now, the second part of the Abandoned Operator DMZ quest will require you to trade 2 specific items with the Shopkeeper. To know what items these are, read the note kept on a table inside. Keep in mind, however, this list of items is refreshed on every deployment. So, far, we know about four set of items on the Shopkeeper’s list along with their locations. They are:

• Chlorine, Liquid Nitrogen, Acetic Acid, and Sulfuric Acid
  • Location: Found inside lockers at the Barracks section of Koschei Complex
• Scientist Note, Employee Handbook, and Lab Code Book
  • Location: Inside Vintage Desks at External Ops and Information Extraction.
• Colored Server Tape
  • Location: Found within the Alpha Cluster.
• Alpha, Beta and Delta Boards
  • Location: Found inside Radio Crates at Information Extraction.

Once you have collected the required items asked by the Shopkeeper, return to the same area at Factory Admin. Drop all the items at the Dead Drop to activate the Secure Buy Station and reach the last part of the Abandoned Operator Mission.

Purchase 1 Item from the Shopkeeper – Abandoned Operator DMZ

This is by far the most straightforward part of the Abandoned Operator Mission. All you need to do is buy any item from the Shopkeeper’s Secure Buy Station. Simply purchase any item you like to complete the Abandoned Operator DMZ mission.

How to Complete Archaeologist DMZ Mission in Warzone 2

The Archaeologist mission will require you to access one of the Koschei Complex Entrances in DMZ. This entrance is located at Taraq Oasis. Once you reach this underground location, you will find the bunker and complete the Redcated Tier 4 mission. Since it can be a little tricky, here are the entire steps to complete the Archaeologist DMZ Mission in Warzone 2:

1. Once you spawn into the Al Mazrah map, head to the location marked in the image above.
2. The place you’re looking for is an underground system at Taraq Oasis that is located north of Rohan Oil.
3. After entering these underground ruins, you will find multiple rooms with supplies in them.
   
4. Head to an opening on the wall that is opposite a ladder.
   
5. Turn left once you reach the end of the room. You’ll know you’re on the right path when you notice green gas and hear radiation sounds.
   
6. Now, keep walking straight until you see a bunker.
   
7. This is your entrance to the underground complex. You will complete the Archaeologist DMZ Mission once you select the “Travel to Koschei Complex” option.

Koschei Complex in Warzone 2 DMZ is a large underground bunker complex that has multiple secret entrances. It is also home to two new bosses; the Rhino and Sniper. There are four entrances to the Koschei Complex, and each one leads to a different part of the map. These locations are well hidden in the dry deserts of Al-Mazrah. If you are trying to extract the GS Magna, this is where you need to go.

Where to Find Koschei Complex Entrances in Warzone 2 DMZ

The four entrances to the Koschei Complex bunker in Warzone 2 DMZ are located in the following locations:

• Al Mazrah City
• Taraq Village
• Rohan Oil
• Taraq Oasis

Al Mazrah City Entrance

The Al Mazrah City entrance to the Koschei Complex is located in the parking lot of a building in the city center. To find the entrance, go to the parking lot and take the side stairwell. The entrance will be at the bottom of the stairs.

Taraq Village Entrance

The Taraq Village entrance to the Koschei Complex is located under a bridge east of the village. To find the entrance, go to the bridge and look below. The entrance will be in a hole in the wall below the bridge.

Rohan Oil Entrance

The Rohan Oil entrance to the Koschei Complex is located in the middle of the oil field. To find the entrance, go to the middle of the oil field and look for a large door in the ground. The entrance will be inside the door.

Taraq Oasis Entrance

The Taraq Oasis entrance to the Koschei Complex is located in the oasis in the northern part of the map. To find the entrance, go to the southwest corner of the oasis and follow the trail to the mountain. The entrance will be at the base of the mountain within some ruins.

The FTAC Siege in MW2 and Warzone 2 is a weapon that you cant unlock from the Battle pass. However, there are different methods to unlock it. There are two ways to unlock the FTAC Siege:

• Get 50 hip-fire kills with a handgun in Multiplayer or Warzone 2 BR.
• Extract the FTAC Siege from a Supply Run in Warzone 2 DMZ.

Unlocking the FTAC Siege in Multiplayer or BR

The easiest way to unlock the FTAC Siege is to complete the hip-fire challenge in Multiplayer or Warzone 2 BR. To do this, you will need to get 50 hip-fire kills with a handgun. This can be done in any mode, but it is easier to do in small maps with close-quarters combat in MW2.

Here are some tips for completing the hip-fire challenge:

• Use a handgun with a good hip-fire accuracy stat.
• Equip attachments that improve hip-fire accuracy, such as the Akimbo perk or the Steady Aim laser sight.
• Play aggressively and get up close to your enemies.

Unlocking the FTAC Siege in Warzone 2 DMZ

Another way to unlock the FTAC Siege is to extract it from a Supply Run in Warzone 2 DMZ. This is great if you are a DMZ player. Supply Runs are random events in DMZ that can occur in any match. Here is how you can unlock it using this method:

1. Wait for a Supply Run event to occur, a helicopter will drop a crate full of loot in a random location on the map.
2. Find the crate using your minimap and open it. Watch out for other players trying to do the same.
3. Once you interact with the crate, you will need to defend it till it opens.
4. If you can successfully defend the crate, you will get the FTAC Siege.
5. Get to the nearest or safest Exfil and extract with the weapon to unlock it in Custom Loadouts.

Finding the Factory Admin Room

Defeating the Rhino Boss

The Rhino is somewhat weak to explosives, so using a grenade launcher or rocket launcher can be helpful in taking him down faster. But, rushing him with your whole team and overwhelming him can work well too.

Extracting from the Bunker

Once you have picked up the GS Magna pistol after killing Rhino, you will need to extract it from the bunker. There are several extraction points located around the bunker, and you can choose to extract from any one of them.

• Know the locations: The Rhino is always roaming around in the large central hall area while the sniper is on the second floor on a railing. You can spot the Rhino by his riot shield and a bright green laser on his gun.
• Equip close-range weapons: One of the best strategies to beat Rhino is to overwhelm him. Have your entire team attack him at the same time. Use weapons like SMGs or shotguns to quickly bring down his armor and health.
• Be wary of other enemies: Besides Rhino and Sniper, there will also be other enemies in the room. Having one teammate dedicated to killing them while everyone focuses on Rhino is a key strategy.
• Watch out for his charge attack: Once in a while, he will get really angry and charge at you in order to use melee attacks, it is best to keep a safe distance so you can safely avoid this when it happens.
• Be patient: The Rhino is an absolute bullet sponge that takes a lot of time to be put down. You will have to use things like munitions boxes to keep being able to fire at him.

How to Defeat the Sniper in Koschei Complex

In MW2 DMZ, once you have beaten the Rhino boss, he will drop a 50 GS pistol and a note. More importantly, defeating him will open a door that will allow you access to the second floor of the Factory Wing where the Sniper is. Here is how you can defeat the Sniper:

• Make your way through this door that will lead you to the Sniper.
• There will be traps along the way so be cautious. Dismantle them as you progress towards him.
• You will also have to defeat other AI enemies while you make your way to him.
• Once he is killed, he will drop a Secure Room Key.

Use this key to gain access to the secure room and get the Koschei Complex Weapon Case.
