The cooperative shooter Payday 3 had been very quiet in the past, however, we finally got another sign of life at the start of this new week. When the official revelation can be expected is still not yet known though.

At the beginning of 2017, the people in charge of the financially troubled company Starbreeze announced that the work on Payday 3 was ongoing. To the distress of the fans, however, there has been no update on the cooperative shooter in the past few months, which caused some people to fear that the project might have fallen victim to the financial difficulties of Starbreeze.

Fortunately, however, this is not the case, as can be seen in a recent tweet on its official Twitter account.

On the one hand, the said tweet points out that Payday 3 is based on Epic Games’ Unreal Engine. In addition, the developers of Starbreeze note that the cooperative shooter is currently in the design phase. This should once again underpin the information that some time will pass before the final release of the title.

Already last year it was pointed out that Payday 3 will release sometime between 2022 and 2023 for unspecified platforms. However, it is likely that in addition to the PC, the two next-generation consoles of Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 will be considered with an implementation.

It is also unclear when the first gameplay presentation can be expected.

Recently, Epic Games presented a technical demonstration of the next-generation technologies Lumen in the Land of Nanite on the new Unreal Engine 5 (UE5). They say that it will be released next year. It was shown on the PlayStation 5 at a resolution of 1440p at 30 frames and even impressed the Xbox Series X team. After some time, the developers said that it can be used on an average modern gaming PC. And now they gave some details about this part.

According to the Chinese branch of Epic Games, the Unreal Engine 5 demo on a laptop with a modern graphics accelerator NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 can already work faster than on the future PS5. The company said that at an average resolution of 1440p, the demonstration will produce about 40 frames on such a system, and this is incredible.

Moreover, the demonstration does not even seem to take full advantage of the SSD capabilities in PS5, because Epic Games called the Samsung 970 PRO solid-state drive NVMe as sufficient enough. Also, it can be with sequential read speeds of 3500 MB / s and write speeds of up to 2700 MB per second. And we remind that the PS5 linear read speed can reach 8–9 GB per second.

The technical demo of Unreal Engine 5 showed incredible visual effects, and therefore it’s really interesting to see how soon we will see them in high-budget games. After all, one can hardly say that the level of technical demonstration of Agni’s Philosophy was achieved in the bygone era of PS4 and Xbox One.

Epic Games today announced the future of Unreal Engine, revealing an iteration of a Game Demo running on PS5. The stunning environment of Lumen in the Land of Nanite displays how gaming will change on next-gen consoles. Epic Games also shared technical aspects of the next Unreal Engine and how it can achieve Ultra-Realistic graphic environment woven with incredible audio.

Unreal Engine is set to release in 2021, designed to provide developers to power to harness the max out of new hardware and software. The demo shares a glimpse of Nanite virtualized micro polygon geometry, it allows an artist to bring details similar to what a human eye sees.

Nanite virtualized micropolygon geometry frees artists to create as much geometric detail as the eye can see. Nanite geometry is streamed and scaled in real time so there are no more polygon count budgets, polygon memory budgets, or draw count budgets; there is no need to bake details to normal maps or manually author LODs; and there is no loss in quality.

Lumen is a fully dynamic global illumination solution that immediately reacts to scene and light changes. The system renders diffuse interreflection with infinite bounces and indirect specular reflections in huge, detailed environments, at scales ranging from kilometers to millimeters.

The stunning demo is convincing enough on what level of graphics quality can be achieved on next-gen consoles. With amazing virtual quality, highly detailed objects, a vibrant light system, gaming on new consoles will dramatically bend toward reality.

Epic Games also launched Epic Online Services. This will allow players to make Friends, for matchmaking, access to lobbies, view achievements and leader-boards, and manage their accounts. Previously applicable to Fortnite, Epic Online Services will be now opened for all developers for free.

The mix of parkour, ray tracing, ninja style, and cyberpunk create the new Ghostrunner movie-based game on the Unreal Engine. It combines Mirror’s Edge approaches with the Blade Runner aesthetic. Nighttime, glass, metal, and rain are the ideal environment for the ray tracing and ideal conditions for viewing the RT functions provided by the Epic Games engine. The first impressions of Eurogamer reporters suggest that the technology is very promising, although still needs some development and optimization.

The Ghostrunner demo, which can be downloaded on Steam, is an advanced training mode that introduces the player to the basics of game mechanics. It will teach you how to run, jump, slide on walls, and climb to earn points. It also demonstrates the mechanics of concentration in the spirit of the Matrix, which allows you to evade fire, and then bring the katana down on the heads of enemies.

Ghostrunner from Mirror’s Edge is distinguished by a mechanic designed so that killing does not slow down the character and its speedy run. The game also encourages experimentation through the use of a quick restart mechanism. Death is a constant companion in Ghostrunner, but at the touch of a button, the hero instantly returns to the previous point.

But the most interesting is, of course, the possibility of hardware acceleration of ray tracing in real-time. This is the second project using the capabilities of Unreal Engine 4 RT. The first project was Deliver Us The Moon from Keoken Interactive and Wired Productions. And it is still in experimental mode. It is worth saying that the performance costs of ray tracing effects are very high. In the tests of journalists, the frame rate, as a rule, decreased by 64%. But the functions are experimental, and developers have many opportunities to optimize the situation.

In general, the Ghostrunner demo impressed journalists. The game looks beautiful from a visual point of view and it offers fresh and interesting gameplay mechanics. It remains to wait for the release of the full version to fully appreciate the game.

Fortnite players have uncovered new skins and items which have been leaked as part of 6.31 update. These skins are uncovered by Fortnite: Battle Royal leaks, which were posted on Twitter.

The new skins will be available in rare varieties which include Insights and Longshot outfits. These skins will cost around 1,200 V-bucks.

Fortnite 6.31 Update Leaks

The leaks haven’t been confirmed but you can expect them to release by the weekend. Due to the similarity between both the skins, it is expected to release on the same day.

Some of the other leaks are the Lamp pickaxe, surrounded by the moths. The new emotes are now having the Showstopper dance, the Mime Time emote, the Scorecard move and the phone it in saxophone jingle.

These all items are expected to release before the Season 7 in December.

The update for Fortnite is Live and available for these platforms: PS$, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, Android & IOS. The Pump shotgun comes in Epic and legendary variants according to the update 6.31 patch notes.

From floor loot, chests, vending machines and supply drops, the new Pump Shotgun types provide 105/110 maximum damage. Also, there’s the Team Rumble mode, where teams compete to make the most kills.

In Darksiders 3, players take control of Fury, sister of War and Death, two of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. The gameplay will be full of combat and thus it’s very crucial to keep an eye on the Fury’s health meter(green bar in the top left corner). How to Heal Fast in Darksiders 3

There are 2 consumable items Fury can use to heal herself in the game. To check the consumable items, press D-Pad and select. So let’s check with all items to be used and how.

Nephilim’s Respite

The primary method for healing Fury in Darksiders 3 is the Nephilim’s Respite. This item is very limited in quantity, and only to restore them(for free) is through Health Lurchers (green souls release from the enemies you kill). In order to increase the storage, you must collect ‘Invigoration Cores’ when exploring the Darksiders world. Try to use them to heal faster during the combat as you are going to replenish once the combat is over.

Health Shards

This consumable can be purchased from Vulgrim and comes in 2 sizes – Large and Small. Unlike Nephilim’s Respite, these consumable cannot be restored easily. The only disadvantage of Health Shards are the Prices of the Consumable rises each time you buy from Vulgrim.

Weapon Enhancement

In Darksiders 3, there are several weapon enhancements that offer health bonuses. These are not instant healing, but improves the durability of Fury in the combat. When you are at Vulgrim, check the Leviathan Enhancement that offers a few health regeneration per minute. You can buy Leviathan Enhancement for 5,000 souls.

Second is the Marauder Enhancement, which will help you replenish your Nephilim’s Respite. This also adds 5% chances to pawn Health Lurchers. To get this enhancement, head back to the chamber where you received the Flame Hollow, continue towards the upper cliff until you find the lava room.
