Steal & Sell Things
The Trade Authority is your best friend when it comes to using this method. Is it even a Bethesda game, if you can’t steal things and sell them to morally questionable merchants?
At the start of the game, you can’t carry a lot. You need to increase your carrying capacity for that. But no matter how much you can carry, always look for items that have lower mass and higher sell value. No matter what planet you are on, you can find some missions for the different factions to do on the Mission Board. These can mostly be fetch quests or things like killing a certain target.
